摘要： A heat-insulating container comprises a paper cup body having an inner surface, an upper open end, a shell member and a bottom, the inner surface being coated with polyolefine resin, the upper open end having an outward curled portion and the shell member having a side wall on which at least one rib is formed; and a tubular member being formed of paper and having an inverse truncated conical shape, the tubular member having at a lower end thereof an inward curled portion. The tubular member is combined with an outer periphery of the paper cup body so as to come into contact with the paper cup body in contact portions provided on the at least one rib of the paper cup body and on an outer periphery of an lower end of the side wall of the shell member. According to such a structure, it is possible to provide the heat-insulating container, which has a stable heat-insulating property, a high grade design, a high degree of freedom in indication by printing on the outer surface of the container, and a lower production cost.

摘要： A paperboard blank processing apparatus including a rotatably mounted processing head (36) for operating upon successive paperboard blanks is disclosed. A paperboard blank registration sensor (50) is provided upstream from the processing head for detecting a preprinted registration mark (108) on a surface of an approaching paperboard blank (100). A controller is responsive to the registration sensor for determining whether the approaching paperboard blank is in proper registration with the rotary processing head (36). A registration correction window is defined by the controller and includes upper and lower limits defining upper and lower maximum correction values for bringing the angular position of the processing head into proper register with the linear position of the approaching paperboard blank. The controller further defines an averaging window containing the registration correction window wherein the registration correction window may be shifted within the averaging window in response to consistent registration errors.

摘要： A Minimal Container, made of pre-cut corrugated cardboard strips fastened together at overlapping surfaces and folded to form a rectangular frame, without generating any scrap corrugated cardboard. The Minimal Container is intended to protect contents for one shipping application. Each side and top and bottom ends of the rectangular frame have an open area. Plastic film is wrapped around the Minimal Container, enclosing it and being connected to it, not only for dust and weather protection, but also to enhance structural rigidity of the Minimal Container. A method of constructing the Minimal Container includes gluing or stapling the corrugated cardboard strips together to form a ladder structure; scoring, slitting, and folding the ladder structure to form the rectangular frame; fastening the rectangular frame together; loading contents in to the rectangular frame; enclosing the rectangular frame with a flexible plastic film wrap; and connecting the flexible plastic film wrap to the rectangular frame.

摘要： A tool positioning device for use in combination with a machine for working paperboard blanks conveyed in a horizontal direction through the machine. The machine includes pairs of parallel rotary shafts wherein each pair of shafts includes upper and lower shafts and carry a plurality of tool heads. The positioning device includes a plurality of coupling members actuated in a vertical direction by actuators wherein the coupling members are moved downwardly into engagement with the tool heads. The coupling members are supported on an actuator support which is mounted to a transfer structure wherein the transfer structure moves the actuator support in axial movement to thereby slide the tool heads along their respective shafts to preselected positions along the shafts.
