    • A wind power generator comprising a stator, a rotor with a shaft connectable to wind turbine and a stationary superconducting coil structure for magnetizing the rotor of the wind power generator, the stator of the wind power generator comprising a multi-phase winding for producing electricity from the wind power generator. The wind power generator is a synchronous generator, and the superconducting coil structure comprises end portions that are arranged to be magnetized with opposing polarities by a superconducting coil, and the rotor comprises poles ex- tending in the surface of the rotor in the direction of the shaft of the generator, the poles being arranged to be magnetized using the superconducting coil structure, wherein each rotor pole is arranged to extend inwardly at one end of the pole such that the inwardly extended end of the pole is arranged in the vicinity of an end portion of the superconducting coil structure for magnetizing the rotor pole and wherein the rotor poles comprises pole shoes, which are formed to provide sinusoidally varying air gap flux in the air gap between stator and rotor.

    • The present invention provides a rotary electric machine that can achieve prompt restarting and that can also reduce eddy current loss by reducing eddy currents that flow through an outer circumferential surface of a boss portion of a pole core due to the changes in flux in field magnetic flux build-up during starting to enable prompt field magnetic flux build-up in response to a restarting command.
      In a rotary electric machine according to the present invention, a first pole core body (17) and a second pole core body (21) are produced using solid cores, and first slits (25) are formed on outer circumferential surfaces of a first boss portion (18) and a second boss portion (22) at a uniform pitch in a circumferential direction so as to have groove directions oriented in an axial direction to disrupt pathways of eddy currents that flow on the outer circumferential surfaces of the first boss portion (18) and the second boss portion (22).

The proposed multipolar contactless double fed asynchronous generator contains a windingless toothed rotor, a stator (1) having groups of teeth (2) with even number of teeth, each group of teeth (2) being embraced by phase m 1 primary winding coils and phase m 2 secondary winding coils (3), wherein the primary and secondary windings are distributed so that each primary winding phase contains coils connected in opposite-series, embracing m 1 stator teeth, and secondary winding coils connected in opposite-series, embracing 2m 1 stator teeth, wherein teeth step t 1 within each group (2) is determined by equation t 1 = t z k 1 ± 1 6 , but the teeth pitch t 2 for mixed groups is determined by equation t 2 = t z k 2 ± 2 3 , where t z is rotor tooth step(4); k 1 , k 2 - are integers. The increased electromagnetic link between the primary and secondary windings according to the proposed device allows increase of specific power and efficiency of the generator.
