    • A pressure regulator comprising a housing containing a channel arranged to communicate a fluid from a fluid inlet (70) to a fluid outlet (75b), said channel comprising a valve seat (17) and closure member (14) with said closure member (14) operable with valve seat (17) to control fluid flow through the channel and; wherein the housing comprises a resilient diaphragm (21) in fluid communication with the fluid and in physical communication with the closure member (14) such that the diaphragm (21) is operable to deform in response to a change in pressure of the fluid and such that deformation of the diaphragm (21) causes the closure member (14) to change position and; wherein a hollow member (41) is located in the channel and the stem of said hollow member (41) defines a narrow path between the channel and outside of said stem in a region proximate to the fluid outlet (75b) such that fluid passing through the channel is communicated from the fluid inlet (70) to the fluid outlet (75b) via said narrow path such that the pressure of the fluid emerging from said narrow path into the channel is communicated to the diaphragm (21) via the inside of the hollow member (41).
