    • The present patent application discloses an overrunning alternator damping pulley. The overrunning alternator damping pulley includes a pulley body (1), two ball bearings (2) provided on both ends of a shaft hole of the pulley body (1); and a hub (3) for supporting the two ball bearings (2). At least one spring holder (4) is provided on the hub (3). At least one friction spring (5) is installed on the spring holder (4). One end of the friction spring (5) is engaged with the spring holder (4). Another end of the friction spring (5) forms a free end spirally extending along an axial direction of the hub (3). The outer ring of the friction spring (5) is in contact with an inner wall of the pulley body (1). A damping groove (6) corresponding to the friction spring (5) is provided on the inner wall of the pulley body (1).

    • An assembly for preventing reverse rotary rotation of shaft (4) comprises a disc (10) including openings (16) having circumferentially spaced-apart ends formed in the disc and pins (32) mounted to a stationary support (8) opposite the openings in the disc and biased towards the disc. The leading end of the opening has an abutment surface (28) perpendicular to the plane of rotation of the disc. The trailing end (30) of the opening is ramped. The outer end (38) of each pin is sized to fit within the openings and has an abutment surface (40) oriented perpendicular to the plane of rotation of the disc and configured for complementary mating engagement with the abutment surface defining the forward edge of the opening. The outer end of the pin is an angled or ramped surface (42). Forward rotation of the disc causes the two ramped surfaces (30, 42) to engage, biasing the pin away from the disc. The pin then slides along the surface of the disc until another opening is encountered at which time the process is repeated. Attempted reverse rotary rotation will cause the two abutment surfaces (28, 40) to engage which prevents any further reverse rotation of the disc.

    • The present invention addresses the problem of implementing a pulley device with an embedded unidirectional clutch, with which the influence of auxiliary automobile machinery on a rotary shaft due to fluctuations in the rotation of the engine can be sufficiently reduced. When the rotational speed of the pulley (2) becomes slower than the rotational speed of the outer-diameter-side sleeve (25), the inner-diameter-side sleeve (24) and the outer-diameter-side sleeve (25) rotate relative to one another due to the elastic force of the coiled torsion spring (18a), until the elastic force of the coiled torsion spring (18a) is released, after which the unidirectional clutch (3) becomes incapable of transmitting torque between the pulley (2) and the outer-diameter-side sleeve (25).
