摘要： A rodless slide assembly is provided illustratively having a longitudinally-extending cylinder, a carriage, a stop assembly, and a catch assembly. The longitudinally-extending cylinder comprises first and second ends and a path of travel extending therebetween. The carriage is slidable on the path of travel on the cylinder between the first and second ends. The stop assembly comprises a stop block and is coupled to the carriage. In one embodiment the catch assembly includes a catch bar and an actuator assembly. The catch bar is located adjacent the path of travel of the carriage.The actuator assembly selectively moves the catch bar to engage the stop block and stop the carriage when the carriage is positioned at a selected location on the path of travel.

摘要： A small envelope is achieved for an inelastically deformed connection between a spring cover (22) and a central housing in a spring brake actuator. The connection is deformed radially inwardly (32) and then extends radially outwardly (31) from the radially inwardly extending portion. This eliminates the radially outwardly extending portion and flanges as are typically utilized in the prior art. Thus, a much smaller enveloppe is provided. In preferred embodiments of this invention, a seal groove (36) is positioned axially adjacent a securement groove in the central housing. A seal (34) is positioned in the seal groove to ensure an air-tight seal. In addition, a unique diaphragm guiding structure (62) is incorporated into one embodiment of this invention.

摘要： Internal explosion engine and generator having an explosion chamber, a movable member forming one wall of the chamber, a charge of non-combustible gas sealed inside the chamber, means for repeatedly igniting the gas in an explosive matter to drive the movable member form a position of minimum volume to portion of maximum volume, means for returning the movable member from the position of maximum volume to the position of minimum volume, and means coupled to the movable member for providing electrical energy in response to explosion of the gas. In one disclosed embodiment, the movable member is a piston connected to a crankshaft, and it is returned to the position of minimum volume by a flywheel on the crankshaft. In another, two pistons are connected back-to-back in a hermetically sealed chamber to prevent loss of the explosive gas. In one embodiment, the electrical energy is produced by a generator connected to the crankshaft, and in the other it is produced by a coil positioned near a magnet which moves with the pistons.

摘要： An air-operated combination diaphragm spring brake has a tamper-resistant connection between a head (46) and a spring side of a flange case (18) which together form a spring chamber (16) housing a power spring (66). The head (46) has an annular rim (70), and the flange case has an annular flange (78) with a diaphragm (48) sandwiched therebetween. A plurality of tabs (102) on one flange rotate into L-shaped channels (94) to lock the head to the flange case with a bayonet style engagement. An alternative embodiment employs threads (112, 114) on the head and adapter flanges to seal the spring chamber. A further embodiment seals the head to a cast flange case using a threaded hoop (116) fitted over the flange case to engage the threads on the head flange.

摘要： A pump assembly comprises a base, a cam, a cylinder, a piston, and a shim clip. The cam rotates about a rotational axis with respect to the base. The cylinder attaches to the base, and has an inlet port and an outlet for fluid. The piston is reciprocally driven by rotation of the cam to draw fluid into the cylinder through the inlet port during a fill stroke, and to close the inlet port and pump fluid in the cylinder toward the offset during a pump stroke. The shim clip is removably insertable between the cylinder and the base to increase the distance between the inlet port and the rotational axis.
