    • A pressure lock system passes a wire (24) along a wire path (504) from a wire source (32) at a high pressure first region (40) to a destination at a low pressure second region (30). The pressure lock system includes a pressure lock chamber (82). A first conduit (160A) has an interior positioned to pass the wire (24) along the path (504) and is mounted for rotation. A second conduit (160B) has an interior positioned to pass the wire (24) from the pressure lock chamber (82) and is also mounted for rotation. A motor (240) may drive rotation of the first conduit (160A) and the second conduit (160B). Pumps (94) may maintain a pressure (P 3 ) of the pressure lock chamber (82) lower than a pressure (P 1 ) of the first region (40).

    • @ A guide device (20) for separating a plurality of yarn passages comprising:

      a rod member (24) movable in its lengthwise direction;
      a plurality of slide members (25a - 25d), provided with yarn guides (22) and movable along the rod member (24);
      the rod member (24) and the slide members (25a - 25d) are inserted into and movable along a hollow cylindrical guide rail member (21);
      the rod member (24) having at least a pairof guide pulleys (30), which sandwich the slide members (25a - 25d) between them;
      a strand-like member (28) wrapping around the guide members (30);
      the strand-like member (28) is connected to one of the slide members (25a - 25d) and a stationary member;
      connecting members (26) having engaging members (26b) at ends thereof are loosely inserted between adjacent slide members (25a and 25b, 25b and 25c, 25c and 25d); and
      the distance between the engaging members (26b) of the connecting member (26) is equal to the sum of the distance between the yarn guides (22) under yarn passages separating condition and the thickness of the slide member.

      The yarn guide (22) located at the front end of the rod member (24) is moved a distance equal to or more than twice of the moving distance of the rod member (24), when the rod member (24) is moved. The rod member (24) does not project excessively from the front surface of the machine frame, and accordingly, the operating ability of an operator around the textile machine is increased, and the guide device for separating a plurality of yarn passages is not damaged while it is operated.

    • A press roller spring frame (10) is provided. The spring frame (10) includes a frame body (12) having a first section (14) having an arcuate shape, a second section (16) extending from the first section (14) and having a substantially planar shape, a third section (18) extending from the first section (14) and having a substantially planar shape. The second and third sections are configured to oppose one another with the first section (14) therebetween. The spring frame (10) further includes a roller (30) operatively coupled to the third section (18) and configured to rotate about an axis (34). A compressive force may be applied to the roller (30) to displace the third section (18) closer to the second section (16), whereby the arcuate shape of the first member (14) is compressed. The compression causes the first member (14) to produce a spring force that resists the compressive force applied against the roller (30) to keep the roller (30) against the object applying the compressive force.
