    • A support arrangement for a two-wheeled vehicle has an attachment unit (60) for attaching the support arrangement to a frame portion (50) of the vehicle, and a supporting leg (30) pivotally connected to the attachment unit (60) for movement between an idle position and a ground engaging position, said ground engaging position being established when the vehicle is tilted from an upright position. The supporting leg (30) is biased such that a return movement from the ground engaging position to the idle position is automatically provided when the vehicle is returned to its upright position whereby the weight of the vehicle does not apply a force to the supporting leg (30).

    • Es handelt sich um einen am Fahrrad anzubringenden Fahrradständer, der durch ein in einem Aussenrohr (2) gleitendem Innenrohr (1) eine flexible Länge erhält. Beim Abstellen des zunächst vom Benutzer aufrecht gehaltenen Fahrrades wird das innere Rohr (1) durch eine Feder (3) aus dem Aussenrohr (2) herausgedrückt und kommt so in seiner maximalen Länge mit dem Boden in Kontakt. Das Fahrrad wird nun vom Benutzer in Richtung des Ständers geneigt, wobei das Innenrohr (1) entgegen der Federkraft in das Aussenrohr (2) geschoben wird. Beim Erreichen einer konstruktiv vorgegebenen Neigung kommt eine formschlüssige Sperrvorrichtung, bestehend aus Kerben (7) am Innenrohr (1) und einer beweglichen Kugel (5), in Eingriff, die ein weiteres Einschieben des Innenrohres (1) in das Aussenrohr (2) verhindert, so dass das Fahrrad abgestützt ist.

    • A stabiliser system, primarily for supporting a pedal bicycle and its rider upright at the halt, comprises a spring-loaded telescopic arm (25) pivoted at its upper end adjacent the rear wheel spindle (12) and having at its lower end a cross-shaft (26) carrying stabiliser wheels (27). The arm can be lowered by back-pedalling to draw a cable (22) onto a spool (31) on the pedal spindle (18). The cross-shaft also carries a flanged roller (51). When the arm is lowered by back-pedalling as the rider comes to a halt, the cross-shaft (26) is drawn beneath the rear wheel and the tyre (13) is engaged by the roller and the rear wheel is lifted off the ground, a large part of the weight of the rider being transferred to the ground through the rear wheel, the roller, the cross-shaft and the stabiliser wheels.
