摘要： Embodiments of the present invention relate to the field of communications technologies, and provide a communication method, a base station, user equipment, and a system. The method includes: receiving uplink data that is sent by the user equipment in a specified multiple-access manner on a time-frequency resource corresponding to the specified multiple-access manner; and sending downlink data to the user equipment in a corresponding multiple-access manner on a time-frequency resource corresponding to the corresponding multiple-access manner, where the corresponding multiple-access manner is a multiple-access manner that is obtained by searching the at least two multiple-access manners according to a prestored correspondence and that is associated with the specified multiple-access manner received by the uplink receiving module. In this way, a problem that because one multiple-access manner is used in a same communications system, requirements of different user equipments cannot be met at the same time is resolved, and an effect of meeting requirements of different user equipments is achieved because a same communications system can provide multiple multiple-access manners at the same time for selection by user equipment.

摘要： The present invention discloses a method for improving the performance of the CDMA TDD wireless communication system. It is a method for increasing the transmission rate in a multi-slot CDMA system. The method comprises: combining a plurality of neighboring time slots to form a combined time slot with a length of integer times of the length of the original time slot, wherein the modulation modes adopted by the combined time slot are not limited; transmitting traffic data with at least one service data field in the combined time slot; and using the guard period in the combined time slot for guard between combined time slots. In implementation, the combined time slot may have a similar structure to the original time slot; for instance, a front time slot and a rear time slot with approximate lengths in the combined time slot may be used for transmitting traffic data, and a midamble is set between the front and rear time slot; or more than two service data fields may be used for transmitting traffic data, and more than one midamble among the service data fields are set. With this method, the data transmission capacity is enhanced; the maximum power consumption is decreased; and the cell coverage is enlarged.

In one embodiment, a method implemented in a wireless communication system includes providing at least two different slot formats, formatting control data in the slots of a control frame according to the at least two different slot formats, transmitting the control frame from a mobile station to a base station via a control channel, receiving the control frame, extracting data rate information from the control frame according to the at least two different slot formats, decoding the extracted control data, parsing the extracted data into separate data rate information and decoding data received via one or more data channels using the decoded control data.
