摘要： A duplexer which can improve isolation characteristics between first and second balanced terminals of a reception filter chip is obtained. In a duplexer (1), a transmission elastic wave filter (3) and a reception elastic wave filter (4) are mounted on a laminated substrate (2), a coil connected between an antenna terminal and a ground potential is formed on the laminated substrate (2), the reception elastic wave filter (4) has first and second ground pads (10 and 11) connected to ground potentials of IDTs connected to first and second balanced terminals (32 and 33), the distance between the second ground pad (11) and the coil is set to be larger than the distance between the first ground pad (10) and the coil, and an inductance component in a conductive path (E) connecting the second ground pad (11) to the second ground terminal (35) is set to be smaller than an inductance component in a conductive path (D) connecting the first ground pad (10) to the first ground terminal (34).

摘要： A SAW filter comprises a piezoelectric substrate, on which are formed at least two filter tracks having at least two IDT electrodes for input and output. The two filter tracks are substantially in-phase in the passband and substantially 180 degrees out of phase outside the passband. To achieve the above phase relation, the input IDT electrode of one filter track is connected in parallel with the input IDT electrode of the other filter track, while the output IDT electrode of one filter track is connected in parallel with the output IDT electrode of the other filter track. The transfer functions of the two filter tracks decrease 3dB from the maximum values at substantially the same frequency. The SAW filter is small, and has a wider passband and abrupt attenuation characteristic.

摘要： There is provided an acoustic-wave duplexer having a satisfactory isolation characteristic between a reception acoustic-wave filter chip and a transmission acoustic-wave filter chip.
An acoustic-wave duplexer 1 includes a reception surface-acoustic-wave filter chip 4 and a transmission surface-acoustic-wave filter chip 3 mounted on a substrate 2. The substrate 2 includes first and second balanced terminals 7 and 8 and a common terminal 5. At least one of the transmission surface-acoustic-wave filter chip 3 and the reception surface-acoustic-wave filter chip 4 is a balanced filter unit that includes, as an input terminal or an output terminal, a first balanced signal terminal and a second balanced signal terminal. The acoustic-wave duplexer 1 further includes a first interconnection 15 that connects the balanced filter unit and the first balanced terminal 7 and a second interconnection 16 that connects the balanced filter unit and the second balanced terminal 8. The first and second interconnections 15 and 16 intersect with each other while being insulated from each other.
