    • In an embodiment, the invention is directed to a motor including a stator having a central pass-through aperture, a rotor having a central support shaft that passes through the central pass-through aperture of the stator, an electronics unit electrically connected to the stator and configured for controlling the operation of the motor, and a component support member. The component support member includes a plurality of mounting members configured to connect to a motor support member. The component support member further includes a tubular bearing support member having a radially inner wall and a plurality of bearings supported on the radially inner wall. The central support shaft of the rotor is rotatably supported on the plurality of bearings. The stator is fixedly mounted to the component support member. The electronics unit is fixedly mounted to the component support member.

    • A brushless electric motor having an internal stator assembly including a lamination core and a heat sink. The motor includes an external rotor assembly adapted for rotational movement relative to the stator assembly about a central shaft. The motor also includes a tubular bearing support received within an inner space of the stator assembly adjacent to the lamination core and adjacent to the heat sink to facilitate a reduced axial length of the motor, the shaft being pressed into a bearing assembly retained within the bearing support to allow rotation of the shaft and therefore of the rotor assembly with respect to the stator assembly. The rotor assembly may have a cover with a central hub and a central shaft mounted within the hub. The motor may have a bearing assembly retained within the bearing support and receiving the shaft to allow rotational movement of the rotor assembly about the stator assembly.

    • A motor includes a bearing holder axially extending in a substantially cylindrical shape and a surrounding member fixed to a radial outer surface of the bearing holder.
