摘要： An inorganic fluorescent substance, which emits orange or red light with longer wavelength than the conventional rare earth-activated sialon fluorescent substance, has a high level of brightness and is chemically stable, is provided. The inorganic fluorescent substance is represented by composition formula MaAbDcEdNeOfXg wherein M represents one or at least two activating elements selected from Mn, Ce, Pr, Nd, Sm, Eu, Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm, Yb, and Lu; A represents one or at least two divalent elements selected from Mg, Ca, Sr, and Ba; E represents one or at least two trivalent element selected from B, Al, Ga, and In; D represents one or at least two tetravalent elements selected from Si, Ge, and Sn; N represents nitrogen; O represents oxygen including the case where oxygen is not contained; X represents other element including the case where X is not contained; and a, b, c, d, e, f, and g are parameters which are regulated and set in specific respective regions, whereby the inorganic fluorescent substance has a high level of color rendering properties and emits orange light with a wavelength of not less than 570 nm and red light with a wavelength of not less than 600 nm.

摘要： The present invention relates to a plasma display apparatus including a heat sink assembly apparatus, wherein the length of a TCP film can be reduced over a predetermined length. The plasma display apparatus according to embodiments the present invention includes a plasma display panel (500), a driver IC (550) for generating a driving pulse to drive the plasma display panel, a signal transfer film (540) electrically connected to the plurality of electrodes and the driver IC in such a fashion that the driver IC is located under a lateral side of the plasma display panel, a heat sink (570) spaced apart from the signal transfer film by a predetermined distance, for externally radiating heat of the signal transfer film, a first fastening unit (580) located between the signal transfer film and the heat sink, for separating the signal transfer film and the heat sink by a predetermined distance, and a second fastening unit (530) coupled to the first fastening unit so as to fix the heat sink. According to a plasma display apparatus in accordance with embodiments of the present invention, a driver IC is located under the lateral side of a plasma display panel, thus shortening the length of a signal transfer film. Accordingly, cost can be saved.

摘要： The present invention aims to provide a method of producing a plasma display panel in which the fluorescent substance layer or the reflection layer is formed easily and accurately even for a minute cell structure, and in which the fluorescent substance layer or the reflection layer is formed evenly in the channels between the partition walls formed in stripes, or such a layer is formed also on the sides of the partition walls. To achieve this purpose, a fluorescent substance layer or a reflection layer is formed by applying a fluorescent substance ink or a reflection material ink continuously onto the channels, the ink being spouted out from a nozzle which runs along the partition walls. The nozzle may be directed to one side of the plurality of partition walls while running. Pressure may be put upon the ink having been applied onto the channels so that the ink sticks to both sides of the partition walls. The ink may be continuously spouted out from a nozzle while a bridge is formed between the nozzle and both sides of the partition walls by surface tension of the ink. A plate with a plurality of partition walls and channels in between may be formed so that adsorption of the sides of the channels against the ink is higher than that of the bottom of the channels.

摘要： A conductive refractory compound coating for electrodes is sputter resistant, very resistant to oxidation, and easy to apply by way of electrophoresis or screen printing. This structure is further enhanced by the presence of surface particles of electrically nonconductive ceramic material. when the cathode electrode is energized, electrically nonconductive material is penetrated by the electric field, which attracts secondary electrons out of the cathode electrode, thereby increasing the cathode's efficiency as an emitter of secondary electrons. More specifically, cathode electrodes are used in a plasma addressing structure. The coating is formed by approximately 5 nm particles, each comprised of a fused matrix of conductive and nonconductive particles co-deposited with frit particles by either electrophoresis or "silk" screening. The coating is subsequently baked to fuse the frit and bond the electrophoretically deposited particles to the electrodes.

摘要： The present invention relates to a separation apparatus for separating a PDP (Plasma Display Panel) glass panel and an aluminum frame from a PDP panel assembly (an assembly of the PDP glass panel and the aluminum frame) and a method for controlling the same.
