摘要： An image display apparatus (300) to equalize a temperature of a panel (310), such as a plasma display panel, LCD or the like. A radiating plate (320) has a heat transmission unit (330) for equalizing a surface temperature of the image display unit (310). The heat transmission unit (330) uses a loop heat pipe. The loop heat pipe (330) has a small amount of operation fluid inside, the inside of the loop heat pipe (330) being under vacuum. The loop heat pipe (330) circulates heat emitted from the image display unit (310) to equalize the temperature of the image display unit (310). Accordingly, the partial damage to the panel (310) caused by the high temperature heat generated from the panel (310) can be prevented, and the life span of the panel (310) can be extended. The equalized temperature of the panel (310) can reduce a brightness difference between the upper and lower ends of the panel (310).

摘要： A process for in-line testing and control of the manufacture of a display panel having a plurality of light-emitting micro-components sandwiched between two substrates is disclosed. The preferred process includes a step (900) of forming micro-capsules containing a gas capable of ionization when a sufficiently large voltage is supplied across the micro-component via at least two electrodes, a step (910) of forming a panel having at least one electrode for ionization of the gas and plurality of sockets for receiving the micro-capsules, a micro-component placement process (930), a process (940) of aligning a second substrate which may have another electrode placed thereon, and a dicing process (950). The panels are preferably tested, such as for size, shape, position, material properties, or electric function after each process and the data stored and subsequently analyzed to determine necessary modifications of the process and/or product.

摘要： According to the present invention, the amount of usage of a heat conductive member for fixing a self-luminous flat display panel to a metallic chassis member disposed at the back of the display panel is reduced in the thickness direction as well as in the surface direction. The invention further provides a technique for efficiently radiating heat from the displaypanel, suppressing cost increase. To this end, in the invention, the heat conductive member is a hot-melt adhesive having adhesion at room temperature and filled with a heat conduction imparting agent, and the display panel is fixed to the chassis member by a plurality of heat conducting sections of the heat conductive member formed discretely ranging from 0.3 to 0.8 mm in thickness.
