摘要： Techniques to provide secure cloud-based storage of data shared across file system objects and clients are disclosed. In various embodiments, a primary encryption key is determined for an object associated with a plurality of component chunks of file system data. The primary encryption key is used to generate for each of said component chunks a corresponding chunk key, based at least in part on the primary encryption key and data comprising or otherwise associated with the chunk. The respective chunk keys are provided to a file system client configured to create and store the object at least in part by encrypting each chunk included in the plurality of component chunks using the chunk key provided for that chunk to generated encrypted chunk data, and combining the encrypted chunk data to create and store the object.

摘要： A system and method for seamless exchange and interaction of multimedia content between communication devices (106, 110) in a network are disclosed. The method can include the discovery and identification of devices (110 )within proximity of a sending device (106). The found devices (110) can be authenticated through unique identifiers established during registration. Connection requirements can be determined based on the identifiers associated with the found devices (110) and the sending device (106). In turn, the sender can establish a connection with the found devices using the connection requirements. The sending device (106) can share or serve as a remote control to redirect and navigate the content, with a simple action or a gesture command, to the found device (110). The shared multimedia content, can either reside on the sender's mobile device (106) or on a remote server (502) within a connected network.

摘要： A method of digital image management is described for a mobile device having both a camera capable of taking digital images and an ability to communicate with the internet. There is an internet schema resident on the internet and a mobile device schema resident in the mobile device. The data fields of the mobile device schema are updated to correspond with the internet schema whenever the mobile device connects with the internet schema. A graphical user interface resident in the mobile device allows a user to input, into the mobile device schema, metadata descriptive of the subject of a digital image contemporaneously with taking of the digital image. This metadata is independent of the digital image, but linked to the digital image for future recall. The graphical user interface resident in the mobile device also allows the user to upload to the internet schema and grant permission for viewing access.
