    • Embodiments of the present invention disclose a data processing method, including: acquiring to-be-stored data in a data table in a columnar database; dividing and/or combining the to-be-stored data according to space of an allocated disk cylinder; and storing same-row data of the to-be-stored data in a same disk cylinder, and in the disk cylinder, successively storing data in each section of columns. Correspondingly, the present invention further discloses a data writing method and a related apparatus and device. A technical problem in the prior art that a write speed is slow when a columnar database is running is resolved by using the present invention, which greatly improves write efficiency of a columnar database. In addition, direct parallel reading or writing may also be implemented by means of hardware marking.

    • An automatic download device is provided comprising a communication means (100) which is incorporated into a terminal and which communicates periodically with a center (C) by means of a communication line (2), and a download control means (200) which is connected to said communication means (100) and to a memory device (8) of said terminal (U) and which, on occassions when it is found that there is new data in said center memory device (5), secures space in said terminal memory device (8) for storage of said new data while at the same time reading said new data out of said center memory device (5) and storing it in said terminal memory device (8). Thus the device enables the automatic addition of new data to a database by means of a communication line (2). Communication is periodically established with said center (C) equipped with said memory device (5). In order to secure the requisite data storage space, data which is only infrequently accessed may be deleted from the terminal memory (8).

    • A method for managing configuration entries in a configuration system and an apparatus (20) configured to perform the method are described.
