by means of at least one vision device (7) and
b. reconstructing based on the spatial position detected in step a. the three-dimensional positions and the orientation of the machine frame (2), of the cutting tool (4) and of the fitting or support (5) during a scoring step.
Further subject matter of the invention is a scoring apparatus for carrying out the process specified above.

摘要： An initial path deriver calculates a first estimation on the basis of at least a bent angle specified between two segments connecting last two measurement points of order-determined measurement points to a next candidate measurement point in the measurement order. It also determines a next measurement point on the basis of first estimations calculated using order-undetermined measurement points as next candidate measurement points. It further derives an initial path that passes through all measurement points from a first measurement point via every measurement point sequentially. An intersection-dissolution decider decides, when there is a location of intersection in a specific intersection form on a path intersecting location in an initial path, whether the intersection is to be dissolved or retained on the basis of a second estimation and a third estimation. A converted-path deriver derives a converted path by converting paths in the initial path in accordance with a decision resulted from the decider.

A balance arm (20) is provided having a hopper (46) at its free end for receiving the diamond particles. The balance arm is adjusted so that it is in a position of equilibrium. As the needle tip (48A) contacts a particle (58A), the balance arm is displaced downwardly, with such downward displacement being sensed by an opto-sensor (38) which is thereby used to sense the contact position (81) of the needle as it comes into contact with the diamond particle (58A). The contact position is recorded at a micro-processor-based controller (52), which is then used to control the subsequent motion of the needle (48) in the next retrieval cycle on the basis of the recorded contact position.
