The first computation unit is different from the second computation unit. The first computation unit is configured to perform a first computation on a detected value that is detected from a subject to be controlled, thus obtaining a first result value. The second computation unit is configured to perform a second computation on the detected value, thus obtaining a second result value, and determine whether the first result value is equal to the second result value. The output control unit is configured to output the first result value in a case that the second computation unit determines that the first result value is equal to the second result value, and not to output the first result value in a case that the second computation unit determines that the first result value is not equal to the second result value.

摘要： The present invention provides a method for operating dual controller which monitors the state of a dual controller to determine whether the dual controller is faulty and enables operation thereof with a controller in a normal state. An operation method of a dual controller according to the present invention dq-converts control command output values of first and second controllers to calculate rates of change in dq conversion values and dq-converts feedback input values, fed back to the first and second controllers, to calculate average rates of change in dq conversion values. When the average rates of change in the dq conversion values for the control command output values and the average rates of change in the dq conversion values for the feedback input values for the respective first and second controllers are identical, the corresponding controller is determined to be in a normal state, and to be in a faulty state otherwise. According to the results of the determination, the controller in the faulty state is set to a standby state and the controller in the normal state is set to an active state.

摘要： A modular, high-availability network for an industrial control system employs a plurality of base modules having backplane and using network ring topology. Base modules may include I/O base modules for communicating with industrial processes or machines, an adapter base module for communicating with a programmable logic controller (PLC) and/or a bus expansion base module for providing additional I/O base modules. Base modules may be arranged side-by-side, having a backplane in a bank. Another embodiment may include having plurality of banks. The network ring topology used by the base modules is normally opened by a ring supervisor at the ring supervisor location. Upon failure of the network, the ring supervisor reconnects the ring to provide an alternative transmission path around the failure point.

The actuator control apparatus includes first and second control portions that generate a control signal for an actuator for driving the control surface and that are different in design, and a switching unit that switches the connection to the actuator from one of the first and second control portions to the other, when an abnormality is detected by the first and second monitoring portions. Accordingly, it is possible to monitor a generic failure, and realize redundancy enabling control of the overall operation of the actuator, from start to finish, when a generic failure has occurred, thus realizing further simplification and streamlining of the configuration.
