摘要： A belt-conveyance control device includes a belt (30) that is supported by a drive roller (31) and a driven roller (32), a pulse motor (11) that drives the drive roller (31), and a first encoder (18) that is attached to the driven roller (32) to detect a displacement of the belt (30). The belt-conveyance control device controls a conveying speed of the belt (30). The belt-conveyance control device further includes a control unit that calculates a difference between the displacement detected by the first encoder (18) and a predetermined target value, calculates a pulse frequency of a driving pulse signal for driving the pulse motor (11) based on a feedback control based on the difference and a feed-forward control based on a reference driving pulse frequency, sets a control range of the feedback control to be equal to or smaller than a frequency of one rotation of the driven roller (32), and controls driving of the pulse motor (11) such that the belt (30) moves at a constant speed.

摘要： Systems and methods apply active feedback via a repetitive controller (522) to compensate for periodic disturbances applied by recording media to a movable image carrier having a controlled velocity. The compensation parameters of the repetitive controller (522), once the error signal of the feedback converges to zero, can be stored with one or more characteristics of the print job or the recording media used for the print job. When other print jobs are received having the same one or more characteristics, the stored, converged compensation parameters can be retrieved, reducing the time to convergence of the systems and methods.

摘要： In order for it to be possible to insert ribbons (1) of any desired length into a machine assembly (MA), for example transfer ribbons in an electrophotographic printing unit, the ribbon (1) is mounted on tubes (3) which are pushed into receptacles (6) which are arranged in the machine assembly (MA). Subsequently, sliding films are applied to the drive roll and/or deflection rolls (2, 8) which are arranged in the machine assembly, then the ribbon (1) is pushed with a gripper arrangement over the sliding films onto the drive roll and the deflection rolls (2, 8) until it has reached a setpoint position. Finally, the sliding films and the gripper arrangement are pulled from the machine assembly. The removal of the ribbon from the machine assembly takes place in the reverse sequence.
