摘要： A process cartridge detachably mountable to a main assembly of the electrophotographic image forming apparatus, the main assembly including a first rotatable main assembly driving force transmission member, a second rotatable main assembly driving force transmission member, a main assembly positioning portion for positioning the cartridge, a movable member movable between a first position for permitting the cartridge to enter the main assembly in a longitudinal direction of the cartridge and a second position for urging the cartridge in a direction crossing and the longitudinal direction to position the cartridge to the main assembly positioning portion, and a main assembly locking member, the cartridge includes an photosensitive drum; a developing roller for developing a latent image formed on the drum with a developer; a drum coupling member, provided on one axial end of the drum, for engaging with the first main assembly drive transmission member and transmitting a first rotational driving force to the drum, when the cartridge is mounted to the main assembly; a shaft coupling member, provided on one axial end of the developing roller, for transmitting a second rotational driving force from the second main assembly driving force transmission member with a deviation permitted between an axis of the second main assembly drive transmission member and an axis of the developing roller, wherein the shaft coupling member includes an engaging portion for engaging with the second main assembly drive transmission member and receiving the second rotational driving force, when the cartridge is mounted to the main assembly; the engaging portion is movable in a direction crossing with the axial direction of the developing roller; when the cartridge enters the main assembly, the engaging portion is positioned to a holding portion provided in the cartridge; when the cartridge is moved by movement the movable member from the first position to the second position , the engaging portion is positioned to the main assembly locking member; and a distance between an axis of the engaging portion and an axis of the developing roller is smaller when the cartridge is positioned to the main assembly positioning portion than when the engaging portion is positioned by the holding portion.

摘要： A process cartridge includes: a photosensitive drum; a rotatable developing roller for developing an electrostatic latent image formed on the photosensitive drum; a rotatable roller having a rotation shaft in a position deviated from an axis of the developing roller, for transmitting a driving force to the developing roller; a coupling member disposed at an end portion of the shaft of the developing roller; a driving force receiving portion, provided on the coupling member and movable in a direction crossing the shaft of the rotatable roller, for receiving a driving force to be transmitted to the developing roller; an urging member for urging the drive receiving portion in the direction crossing the shaft of the rotatable roller; a supporting portion for rotatably supporting the drive receiving portion so as to be movable together with the drive receiving portion toward the rotatable roller in the direction crossing the shaft of the rotatable roller; and an abutting portion for receiving the supporting portion urged by the urging member, wherein the abutting portion is positioned outside an outer periphery of the photosensitive drum on a plane perpendicular to the shaft of the rotatable roller.

摘要： A positioning guide is configured to guide a rotational axis of a photosensitive body when a process cartridge is mounted on a main body, and to determine a position of the rotation axis of the photosensitive body with respect to the main body in a mounting state in which the process cartridge has been mounted on the main body. A photosensitive body drive gear is configured to be capable of rotating in a forward and reverse direction and to transmit a rotational drive force to the photosensitive body in the mounting state. A regulating member is configured to be in a lock state and an unlock state. In the lock state, the regulating member prohibits the rotational axis of the photosensitive body from moving in the mounting/removing direction. The rotational axis of the photosensitive body is released from the regulating member in the unlock state.
