摘要： There are described a light impression apparatus and method (1) for providing at least one graphic motif (2A) on a textile fabric (3) to which a photosensitive substance is applied. The light impression apparatus (1) comprises an irradiation chamber (5) provided with a first and a second light source (14A, 14B) suitable for emitting respective light radiations. 摘要： In an information recording and reproducing method and apparatus, a piece of picture image information is recorded as an analog quantity or a digital quantity on an information carrying medium (3) in a planar manner at a high density, charge potential is read for outputting electric signals to correspond to the recorded picture image information, and then the outputted signals are printed out by means of various display units or output devices with high quality and high resolution as well as ease processing of the information. The information carrying medium (3) provides a long period of storage of information, and enables stored picture image information to be repeatedly reproduced with a picture quality according to need. Particularly, it is possible to read and output local potential of an information carrying medium (3) with predetermined scanning density at a desired time, and so pictures of high quality may be output as a silver salt photograph is taken and reproduced by optically scanning the film. Thus, the present invention may be applied to a wide field including photographing, copying and printing.

摘要： A photoconductive photosensitive member (2) and a charge retaining medium (1), which face one another at a predetermined interval, are exposed to light while a voltage is applied between them from an external power source (E). The discharge occurring in the exposed areas produces an electrostatic image on the charge retaining medium. In this method, the applied voltage is removed a predetermined time after a shutter (13) is closed so that all the carriers generated in the photosensitive member can be transferred to the charge retaining medium. Accordingly, the quantity of charge corresponding to an exposure quantity is stored in the charge retaining medium irrespective of the kind of the photoconductive member used. If the charge retaining medium or photosensitive member is charged in advance in this case, a positive image can be obtained with the external power source disconnected. Alternatively, the applied voltage may be removed after the photosensitive members are separated from the charge retaining member on which an electrostatic charge image has been formed. In this case, the image is prevented from distortion. On the other hand, if a spacer for keeping the photosensitive member and the charge retaining member in a spaced-apart relation is formed integrally with either the photosensitive member or the charge retaining medium, the discharge gap can easily be kept constant. Further, if the electrode of the photosensitive member or that of the charge retaining medium at a spacer portion is removed, it is effective to prevent dielectric breakdown which may be caused through the spacer.

摘要： The present invention provides an image-recording process wherein the voltage applied between a photosensitive member 2 and electrostatic information recording medium 1 is put off after the lapse of a given time from the closing of an exposure shutter 13. It is thus possible to move all the generated carriers onto electrostatic information recording medium 1 and accumulate them as charges in an amount corresponding to the quantity of exposure irrespective of a voltage shutter time. It is also possible to electrically charge electrostatic information recording medium 1 or the photosensitive member 2 in advance and put on-off an electrical connection between the electrodes of the photosensitive member 2 and electrostatic information recording medium to control image exposure, thereby dispensing with any external high-voltage power source and obtaining a positive image. In addition, it is possible to avoid the occurrence of inverse discharge and prevent the resulting image from falling into disorder by separating the photosensitive member 2 and electrostatic information recording mudium 1 from each other, while voltage remains applied between the electrodes thereof, after an electrostatic image has been formed on the electrostatic information recording medium 1, and putting off the voltage impressed. A discharge gap can be easily kept constant by making a spacer 3 integral with the photosensitive member or electrostatic information recording medium;it is possible to achieve high-speed image pickup and prevent discharge breakdown which may otherwise be induced through the spacer. The spacer region is formed by removing the electrode of at least one of the photosensitive member and electrostatic information recording medium; it is possible to eliminate the cause of discharge breakdown occurring through the space. A decrease in the electrode area can result in a decrease in the capacitance of the overall system, making it possible to relieve the amount of load born by an external circuit.
