    • There is provided an ultrasound diagnostic device including receiving data a transmission lines between scan line data forming units and channels and a method of forming scan line data. The ultrasound diagnostic device includes a plurality of channels for providing receiving data and a scan line data forming unit including a plurality of sub-scan line data forming groups and a data summing unit, wherein the sub-scan line data forming group forms partial data of scan lines, and wherein the data summing unit forms scan line data of the scan lines by summing the partial data. The sub-scan line data forming group includes a plurality of sub-scan line data forming units for forming the partial data of the scan lines by using the receiving data and providing a transmission path of the receiving data, first data lines for transmitting the receiving data between at least one of the sub-scan data forming unit and the channels and second data lines for transferring the receiving data between the sub-scan line data forming units.

    • An ultrasound imaging system with a slewing bandpass filter (200) is disclosed for selective passage of time varying acoustic signals. The acoustic signals represent artifacts of reflection of tissue and fluid. The bandpass filter (200) includes two mixers (218, 226) and two fixed bandpass fliters (220, 228). The signal sources each provide a reference signal for two local oscillators. The first mixer (218) mixes the input and first reference (L01) signals to a desired first frequency range. This first fixed bandpass filter (220) has a top passband frequency above the first frequency range and provides a first filtered output signal (IF1). The second mixer (226) mixes the first filtered signal (IF1) and the second reference signal (L02) to a desired second frequency range. The second fixed bandpass filter (228) has a center frequency and bandwidth not overlapping with the first bandpass filter (218). The second fixed bandpass filter (228) provides a second filtered output signal (IF2) with a scannable variable bandwidth passband characteristic useful for examining the time varying characteristics of the input signal. The slewing bandpass filter also includes a control means for controlling the first and second signal sources in accordance with time-varying characteristics of interest.
