摘要： Procédé permettant d'isoler un pipeline (1) plus ou moins submergé au fond de la mer consistant en ce que l'isolation (3) est réalisée directement au niveau du pipeline (1). Les substances produisant la couverture isolante sont amenées à une chambre de mélange (7) sur le site de production et sont transformées en mousse autour du pipeline (1). 摘要： A field joint of a pipeline is coated in a thermoplastics injection moulding process by positioning a mould tool around the field joint to define a mould cavity. Thermoplastics material is injected into the mould cavity to form a field joint coating that will set in the mould cavity. As the thermoplastics material shrinks in the mould cavity while the field joint coating sets, compacting pressure is applied radially inwardly within the mould cavity against a radially outer side of the field joint coating.A compacting fluid introduced into the mould cavity between the mould tool and the field joint coating may be used to apply pressure against the field joint coating. This accelerates and controls cooling of the field joint coating while maximising quality.

摘要： A polymer concrete which does not shrink on curing includes a mineral aggregate, a hydrated mineral powder and a polymer matrix for binding the aggregate, the polymer being an acrylic, polyester, vinyl ester or epoxy resin. Due to the polymerization and cross-linking heat of reaction or to externally applied heat, the water of hydration of the filler is converted into steam, which is at least sufficient to prevent the concrete from shrinking. The concrete can be used for coating a submerged pipeline by filling a form placed about the pipeline. Another use of the concrete is in plugging a gas or oil well: after injecting the concrete into the well, a casing plug is placed directly above the concrete, and reliance is placed on the wellhole temperature and the heat of reaction for liberating the steam which, during curing, expands the concrete.
