摘要： A metering pump (18) incorporates a method of relating inner loop current to a pump output pressure. Pump/motor speed, which correlates to current, is measured and controlled by a system controller (12). System temperature is also measured by the system controller (12). The controller (12) monitors the measured system temperature and provides for compensation for system losses, including inductive-resistive (IR) losses, and for density and viscosity shifts, within a pre-determined allowable system temperature operating range. An initial system calibration is conducted using a "shut-off" test, where the metering pump is run at a very slow known speed while the system is shut-off. After initial start-up, a health-monitoring feature continues to monitor the current as an indicator of pump performance and continuously adjusts a motor speed to maintain a desired level of pump performance. This provides the system with the ability to compensate for performance losses, including performance losses due to variations in operating conditions, and to compensate for pump wear.

The casing stores lubricating oil in its bottom portion. The compression mechanism compresses refrigerant. The drive shaft drives the compression mechanism. The main frame has the compression mechanism placed on it and supports the drive shaft in such a way that the drive shaft may freely rotate. The motor drives the drive shaft. The flow path forming member forms an oil flow path (92). The oil flow path is a space located in the neighborhood of an inner peripheral surface of the casing and through which lubricating oil that lubricates sliding portions including the compression mechanism and the drive shaft flows. The temperature measuring mechanism is disposed outside the casing. The temperature measuring mechanism measures the temperature of a section of an outer peripheral surface of the casing positioned in the neighborhood of the oil flow path.

摘要： Embodiments to help detect operation conditions of a compressor of a TRU in real time by a genset are disclosed. The operation conditions of the compressor can be determined by monitoring a parameter pattern of the genset, such as value changes of a horsepower, a torque, an exhaust temperature, fuel consumption and/or a RPM of a prime mover of the genset, or a current drawn from a generator of the genset, over a period of time. In one embodiment, when a scroll compressor is used in the TRU, the scroll compressor may start a periodical load/unload duty cycle when the TRU reaches its setpoint. The periodical load/unload duty cycle of the scroll compressor can be detected based on a corresponding fluctuation pattern in genset parameters. When this periodically fluctuating pattern of ECU parameters and/or current drawn is detected, the prime mover can be switched to a low operation speed.

摘要： A system includes a refrigerant compressor including an electric motor, a current sensor that measures current flow to the electric motor, a switching device configured to close and open to allow and prevent current flow to the electric motor, respectively, a maximum continuous current (MCC) device that includes a resistance corresponding to a maximum continuous current for the electric motor, and a motor protection module. The motor protection module communicates with the MCC device, the current sensor, and the switching device and determines a first MCC value for the electric motor as a function of the resistance of the MCC device. The motor protection module also selectively sets a predetermined MCC to the first MCC and controls the switching device based on a comparison of the current flow to the electric motor and the predetermined MCC.
