Each of the pair of exhaust manifolds (25) includes a first passage (49) that includes a plurality of inflow ports (49a) into which exhaust gases from the cylinders (18) flow, a collecting portion (49c) at which exhaust gases are collected, and an exhaust port (49b) from which exhaust gases are discharged. The exhaust pipe (26, 226) includes a connection passage (50, 250) that includes a pair of intermediate inflow ports (50a) that are connected to the exhaust ports (49b), at least one intermediate exhaust port (50b) from which exhaust gases are discharged. The connection passage (50, 250) is arranged to connect the pair of intermediate inflow ports (50a) and the at least one intermediate exhaust port (50b).

摘要： A method for controlling the exit of exhaust gases from an engine which is used to power an underwater propeller drive arranged at the hull bottom of a boat is provided. According to the method exhaust gases are allowed to flow from the engine through an exhaust channel and exit through a first underwater exhaust outlet in the underwater propeller drive. According to the method, if the engine is running and the transmission of the propeller drive is in neutral position, a second underwater exhaust outlet is opened for letting exhaust gases in the exhaust channel exit in a position closer to the hull bottom of the boat than the first underwater exhaust outlet.

In order to ensure reliable operation of the exhaust gas scrubber (1') and to be able to dismiss a duplex filter used in connection with removal of effluent from the exhaust gas scrubber, a lower part of the exhaust gas scrubber is, beneath the support grate (14'), provided with a filter (12') to prevent a filler material from entering a discharge outlet (13') located in the lower part of the exhaust gas scrubber and provided for discharging the scrubbing water containing impurities of the exhaust gases, i.e. the effluent, from the exhaust gas scrubber. The invention also relates to a ship provided with an exhaust gas scrubber (1').
