    • The invention relates to a garage for a passenger car with an entrance/exit cabin that is provided with a vertical opening that closes a parking platform and with a vertical conveyor with a jack-up platform associated with said entrance/exit cabin. The parking platform (3) is characterized by two comb halves (3', 3 ) that are disposed side-by-side and that can be lowered from an entry position to an intermediate station (9), in which the comb halves can be laterally outwards displaced. The comb halves are further provided with shaped parts (7) that are spaced apart by slots (5, 6). The vertical conveyor (11) displaces a carrier rake (10) vertically and horizontally and guides it through the slots (5, 6), said carrier rake projecting beyond the comb halves (3', 3 ) with a partial length thereof. The carrier rake picks up the passenger car (2), displaces the comb halves (3', 3 ) in a lateral and outward direction, and delivers the car to a parking box (12) or withdraws it from the parking box by means of the vertical conveyor (11), and transports it back to the entrance/exit cabin (1).

    • A palletless rack-type parking system with a stacker crane comprises a plurality of racks each having a plurality of parking spaces in a lattice form and arranged on a support surface to be spaced apart from each another at a regular interval; a plurality of storage fork bars each including a first projection tab projected from a predetermined portion of a lower surface thereof to have a predetermined height and horizontally mounted on an upper surface of a first support beam in a regular interval through the first projection tap to cross the support beam in a right angle, at least one end of which is projected longer from the support beam of the rack in a beam form; a transporting fork including a plurality of transporting fork bars each having a second projection tap projected from a predetermined portion of a lower surface thereof to have a predetermined height and a second support beam arranged to cross the storage fork bar in a right angle and for supporting the second projecting tap facing its lower surface; and a stacker crane installed in each vertical space between two neighboring racks and operable in more than two-axial directions of leftward, rightward, upward and downward with the transporting fork being mounted thereon, thereby enabling the transporting fork to be moved upward or downward within a minimum allowance that the vehicle is not interfered with transporting fork bars or storage fork bars of the transporting fork.

    • A vehicle handling system is provided for an automated parking garage. The system includes a loading platform (22) dimensioned to support a vehicle, the loading platform including gratings (26) each formed by a plurality of spaced-apart, parallel bars (25). The system also includes a carriage (29) also formed with a grating having a plurality of spaced-apart, parallel bars (30), wherein the gratings of the loading platform and the carriage are sized and configured to allow the bars of the carriage to pass between the bars of the loading platform. The system also includes a lifting mechanism for lifting a vehicle away from the loading platform. The lifting mechanism may be a stacker crane assembly (32) allowing both vertical and horizontal movement of the carriage or a robot trolley and lift assembly (50). The system may also include a turntable for changing the orientation of the vehicle within the garage.

    • The invention concerns a garage for cars, said garage having a statically rigid housing which is closed at its top and bottom end faces and which has a booth disposed in one end face. In order that any number of parking operations can be continually performed, the opening (3) serving as an entrance and exit can be closed and opened by a comb-like parking plate (2) which can move laterally transversely to the lifting direction of the vertical conveyer (12). The lifting arrangement (21) of the vertical conveyer (12) comprises comb-like carrier plates (13, 14) for the cars (4). These carrier plates (13, 14) engage through slots (5, 6) in the parking plate (2). By means of the lifting arrangement (21), the car (4) can be inserted in or removed from a parking box (15) which is constructed adjacent the vertical conveyer (12) and has a comb-like base (18). The cars can also be transported back to the entrance/exit opening (3), and set down on the adjusting plate (2) which is moved back into the closure position.
