    • The invention relates to a shut-off device (100) especially for sewage drains, characterised in that the device has an inlet fitting piece (4, 167) and a dual valve system (200), the inlet fitting piece (4, 167) comprises a valve seat (10, 178), the first valve of the dual valve system (200) is a clack valve (9, 168) that is rotateably mounted on the inlet fitting piece (4, 167) above the valve seat (10, 178) such that the clack valve (9, 16) rests in an inclined or vertical position against the valve seat (10, 178) in the rest position, the dual valve system (200) further comprises a flexible shut-off valve (11, 169) comprising a flexible material (11 a) having a larger surface than an upper surface (9a) of the clack valve (9), a lower side (11d) of the flexible material (11a) is provided with auxiliary weight (18) and the upper side (11 b) of the flexible material (11 a) is affixed to the inlet fitting piece (4, 167) above the clack valve (9, 168) whereby the lower side (11 d) of the flexible material (11 a) provided with the auxiliary weight (18) hangs down from the clack valve (9, 168) and biases the clack valve (9, 168) towards the rest position. The invention further relates to a drain shaft assembly (300) comprising a drain shaft (302) being in communication with a sewage drain (304) and an upper drain shaft opening (306) being in communication with the outside (308), characterised by comprising a shut-off device (100) according to the invention.

    • A self-sealing floor drain includes a hollow cylindrical drain basket mounted in a drain pipe or an existing bell-type floor drain, and a sealing disc movably mounted at a water outlet of the drain basket. The drain basket has a case, on an inner wall surface of which a switch unit is mounted. A torsion spring is provided in the switch unit for opening and closing the sealing disc. Waste water flown into the drain basket applies a downward force on the sealing disc to thereby open a bottom sealing joint of the drain basket to drain the waste water. When the waste water has been drained, the torsion spring brings the sealing disc upward to seal the sealing joint again, so that sewage, bad smell, hazardous gas, and insects are stopped from entering into a room via the floor drain due to a positive pressure state in the drain pipe.

    • A backflow prevention apparatus 1 is provided with a check valve 10 and a float-type backflow prevention valve 20, these being installed in this order as one proceeds from upstream to downstream. The check valve 10 comprises a valve seat 15 that causes a location toward the float-type backflow prevention valve 20 and a location upstream therefrom in a wastewater drainage system to be placed in mutual communication; a valve member 14 that closes the valve at the valve seat 15 due to an upwardly directed restoring force and that opens the valve at the valve seat 15 as a result of being made to fall when the restoring force is overcome by a hydraulic head of wastewater flowing thereinto from a location upstream therefrom; and a restoring force exerting means 13 that exerts an upwardly directed restoring force on the valve member 14; wherein the components responsible for causing closure of the valve at the valve seat 15 by the valve member 14-which include the valve seat 15, the valve member 14, and the restoring force exerting means 13-are formed from metal(s). The float-type backflow prevention valve 20 comprises an annular valve seat 21 that causes a location downstream therefrom in the wastewater drainage system and a location toward the check valve 10 to be placed in mutual communication; a float 24 that rises in accompaniment to a rise in a water level of wastewater to close the valve at the annular valve seat 21 and that falls in accompaniment to a fall in a water level of wastewater to open the valve at the annular valve seat 21; a guide member 22 that guides movement of the float 24 in a vertical direction; and a constraining member 23 that constrains a lowermost position to which the float 24 can move.
