摘要： The present invention is a corrosion protection cathode using an external power supply in which a reinforcing layer formed of a fiber base material is laminated with an adhesive layer on one surface of a conductive layer formed of a graphite sheet, and an electrolyte layer of an electrolyte-containing resin formed in a sheet shape and having adhesive power such that the layer is capable of being adhered to the conductive layer and to a surface layer of an object to be protected from corrosion is adhered by the adhesive power thereof to the other surface of the conductive layer, wherein the conductive layer always has a resistance value of 4 Ω or less between any two points on the surface thereof on a side that comes into contact with the electrolyte layer.

摘要： The invention relates to the galvanic protection of a concrete structure (10) comprising metal reinforcements (12). Holes (15) are previously made in the structure, for receiving sacrificial anodes. Before arranging said sacrificial anodes, decontamination electrodes (16) and an electrolyte are inserted into the holes in order to carry out a decontamination phase wherein the negative terminal of a power supply (18) is electrically connected to the reinforcements of the structure and the positive terminal of the power supply is electrically connected to the decontamination electrodes. Once the power supply has been activated for a certain amount of time in order to attract the chloride ions to the decontamination electrodes and the electrolyte, the electrolyte and the decontamination electrodes are removed from the holes (15) and the sacrificial anodes are sealed therein and then electrically connected to the reinforcements.

摘要： A method of protecting steel in concrete using a sacrificial anode assembly is disclosed. The sacrificial anode assembly comprises a sacrificial metal element (11), an activator, a backfill (13), a connector (17) and a spacer (12). An anode cavity (14) is formed in the concrete for the purposes of installing the sacrificial anode assembly therein. The sacrificial metal element and activator are embedded in the backfill in the cavity. The spacer holds the activator away from the sides of the cavity. The connector is used to connect the sacrificial metal element to the reinforcing steel (16). The backfill is a pliable, viscous backfill that does not harden before the installation process is completed.
