摘要： The galvanic cathodic protection of steel embedded in concrete structures is enhanced by the utilization of a flexible composite anode assembly containing a sacrificial anode member. The anode member is at least partially covered by a matrix comprising an ionically-conductive material. The conductive material includes at least one electrochemical activating agent such as a mixture of lithium bromide and lithium nitrate and a compressible water-retaining mineral such as a phyllosilicate mineral. The presence of this mineral in the matrix increases the current delivered by the anode, thereby resulting in a greater level of cathodic protection, and a longer effective service life of the anode. Exfoliataed vermiculite is a preferred phyllosilicate mineral and is present in an amount of between about 2% and about 15% by weight, based on the total weight of the matrix.

摘要： The invention relates to a method for the production of a multi-layered surface protection for reinforced concrete in order to improve protection against corrosion for reinforced concrete constructions or reinforced concrete building components. 摘要： The present invention relates to a method of and an apparatus (20) for cathodic protection of reinforced concrete using discrete anodes (22) in or on the reinforced concrete member (14) to improve performance and service life of the discrete anodes. The discrete anode (22) is embedded in a cementitous grout or mortar (24) to encapsulate the anode (22) and provide contact to complete the cathodic protection circuit. A lithium salt is added to the cementitous grout or mortar (24) in an amount of at least about 0.05 gram per cubic centimeter. The lithium salt functions to enhance the performance of the cathodic protection system (20) by minimizing the deleterious effects of the anode reaction products on the grout or mortar adjacent to the anode and increasing the protective current delivered to the reinforcing steel.

摘要： A method of protecting steel in a reinforced concrete element is disclosed. The reinforced concrete of the element contains an electrolyte. The method involves providing a primary anode, which is a sacrificial anode, and providing a secondary anode, which is connected to a positive terminal of at least one source of direct current, ‘DC’, power. The primary anode and secondary anode are arranged to have an ionic connection with the steel in the reinforced concrete element via the electrolyte. The primary anode is connected to the steel in the reinforced concrete element using an electron conductor. The negative terminal of the source of DC power is connected to the steel in the reinforced concrete element using an electron conductor.

摘要： The invention relates to a conductive concrete through which electrical power can pass, such as to provide cathodic protection for the reinforcing steel and resistance to chemical attacks. The inventive conductive concrete mixture has greater mechanical strength properties than those of a standard concrete, low volume weight and mechanical characteristics that enable same to be used in both a structural and architectonic manner. In addition, the concrete is resistant to corrosion owing to the formulation thereof. The invention comprises an electricity conductor having a low water absorption value and a very low rupture deformation, thereby providing great structural stability. The purpose of the invention is to provide a type of concrete which is totally different from those currently available, owing to the formulation, mixture and novel characteristics thereof, and which is essentially characterised in that it combines the advantages of existing concretes with electrical conductivity. Moreover, the physical and chemical properties of the inventive concrete are greater than those of existing concretes, such as low volume weight.
