    • 1) New fluorine-containing compounds having polyacetalic structure, of general formula:



              (I)   [Rf-CH₂O(CH₂O) c -CH₂⁆ n



      where:
      Rf = a perfluorooxyalkylene chain having M ¯ n from 500 to 5,000;
      c = 1 - 10;
      n = 2 - 100.
      2) A process for preparing them, which comprises carrying out the polycondensation of diols having formula:



              (II)   HOCH₂RfCH₂OH



         with formaldehyde, in mass or in the presence of solvents, in an acid medium.

      The compounds of formula (I) can be oligomeric compounds (polymerization degree x ¯ n from 2 to about 20) or polymeric compounds ( x ¯ n from about 20 to about 100). They exhibit a high stability to heat and to chemical agents, and Tg values slightly different from the ones of the diols utilized for preparing them.

    • A thermoplastic resin composition comprises a thermoplastic resin (A) having a solubility parameter δ of at least 9.5 cal 1/2 cm -3/2 in which a modifier (B) having a solubility parameter δ of not higher than 8.5 cal 1/2 cm -3/2 is dispersed to form a dispersion, characterized by containing a dispersibility improver (C) comprising a silicon-containing polyacetal copolymer prepared by bonding 0.01 to 30 wt.% of a terminal-reactive silicone oil of the following general formula [I]:
