    • Disclosed is a banknote stacking apparatus (100) comprising at least one pair of transmission assemblies, a hot wheel (4) and a guide plate (11), wherein the guide plate (11) guides the banknotes to be stacked (6) such that the banknotes are stacked onto a banknote stacking rack (7). The pair of transmission assemblies comprises a ratchet wheel assembly (90) and a pinch wheel assembly (92). The ratchet wheel assembly (90) comprises a first transmission wheel (91), a ratchet wheel (13) and a first conveyer belt (2) stretched over the transmission wheel (91) and the ratchet wheel (13), wherein the ratchet wheel (13) comprises multiple ratchet teeth (132). The pinch wheel assembly (92) comprises a second transmission wheel (921), a pinch wheel (1) and a second conveyor belt (8) stretched over the second transmission wheel (921) and the pinch wheel (1). The first conveyor belt (2) and the second conveyor belt (8) form a holding and conveying channel. The ratchet teeth (132) contact a banknote (6) output from the holding and conveying channel, exerting a propulsive force on the banknote (6), making the point where the banknote actually loses motive power closer to the hot wheel (4), and the contact area of the ratchet teeth (132) and the banknote (6) is small and the resistance is low, benefitting the conveyance of the banknote (6) to the hot wheel (4), increasing the depth to which the banknote (6) is inserted into the hot wheel (4), reducing the occurrence of flyaway banknotes.

    • Financial self-service equipment and an impeller type paper money separation device thereof. The impeller type paper money separation device comprises: a delivery impeller (105) which is used for separating paper money; an impeller phase detection sensor (108); a paper money delivery mechanism; and at least one U-shaped sensor (104) which is fixed to the delivery impeller (105) and is used for detecting whether the paper money enters the delivery impeller (105) or not. The U-shaped sensor (104) comprises a signal transmitting end and a signal receiving end, wherein the signal transmitting end and the signal receiving end are located at the same side of the delivery impeller (105); the signal transmitting end and the signal receiving end are spaced at intervals, so as to form the opening end of the U-shaped sensor (104); and the opening end faces the direction in which the paper money enters the impeller (105). The paper money separation device uses the U-shaped sensor (104) for detecting whether paper money is inserted into the impeller (105) or not, so as to control the rotation of the impeller (105), thereby having faster processing speed and higher accuracy than a general optical correlation sensor, so that it is avoided that the paper money deviates from the impeller or is clamped caused by impeller rotation before the paper money is completely inserted into the impeller.
