The piercing area is formed of rubber having rubber hardness from 20 to 35, and the top surface other than the recess of the cap portion is formed of rubber having rubber hardness from 58 to 90.

    • A closure (1) closes a mouth (2) of a bottle (3), wherein the bottle is made of glass and has an external outwardly extending integral collar (4) which extends fully around an outside of the neck of the bottle and is of a constant shape and size at any location around the periphery. The seal (5) is held under compression against an uppermost rim (6) of the bottle mouth (2) and surface (7), which is adapted to engage with compression force the seal (5). Upon extraction of portion (8) from within the mouth of the bottle, a "popping" sound is achieved by having the position of a sealing part (9) of the portion somewhat below the mouth prior to extraction so that there will be upon extraction an evacuation of the headspace within the bottle.

    • The present invention pertains to a stopper (1) for closing a dispensing opening (70) of a container (8). The stopper comprises a body element (2) for closing the dispensing opening, the body element having a top face (20) and a bottom face (22), the bottom face being directed towards the inside of the container; a moving element (3) which is situated at the top face (20) of the body element (2), wherein the moving element is movable relative to the body element from an initial position in which the moving element does not extend beyond the outer extension of the top face (20) in the plane of the top face of the body element, to an opening position in which the moving element is moved relative to the body element to extend at least partly beyond the outer extension of the top face (20) of the body element (2) in the plane of the body element, wherein the moving element provides, in the opening position, a gripping surface (32) for a user to remove the body element from the dispensing opening. The moving element substantially covers the entire top face of the body element in the initial position.

    • The invention provides in a first aspect a container closure 1 adapted to form to the inner surface of a neck portion of a container for liquids 2, the closure comprising an inner body 3 and an outer seal 4, wherein the outer seal comprises at least two circumferentially extending ribs 11 and is adapted to form a seal for the container neck in use, the invention being characterized in the upper surface 15 of the uppermost rib is adapted to be urged into contact with the underside 17 of the adjacent rib upon insertion into the container neck thereby to increase the force supplied to the container neck in use.
      The invention also provides that the inner body 3 and the outer seal 4 have compatible polymer base, the elongation to break value of the inner body being less than that of the outer seal whereby the inner body and the outer seal are directly adherent to each other after formation.
