摘要： A lid for securing to the brim of a container, the lid including a container closure having a disk shaped member with a periphery for mating with the brim of the container. The periphery includes annular inner and outer side walls with at least one annular rib disposed on each of the inner and outer side walls. The ribs of the annular walls form a gripping area to secure the lid to the container for preventing leaks and accidental spillage. A top wall interconnects the inner and outer side walls and includes visual cues for viewing the brim of the container when the lid is affixed to the brim. The lid additionally includes a pronounced wedge shaped sipping spout projecting upwards from the container closure. The container closure includes a circular indented channel for stacking one lid covered cup over another with additional stability provided by the sipping spout.

摘要： A moisture-tight, re-sealable container (10, 80, 120, 202, 214) is disclosed having a lid (18, 128) and body (12, 112). The lid and body have a non-round seal (50, 78) that is substantially moisture tight when the lid is seated on the body, admitting less than 1000 micrograms per day of water to a package. A reinforcement (22 or 162) stiffens or reinforces at least a portion of the seal against inward deflection along an axis (42) defined by the minor diameter when the lid is seated on the body. Optionally the reinforcement is at least one spline (162) subdividing the reservoir. A method of making dispensers (10, 80, 120, 202, 214) for objects (122, 124) of varying length to customize particular dispensers to dispense such objects of a particular length is also disclosed.

摘要： A beverage container lid for dispersing heat includes a cover portion having an inlet opening and forming a dispensing spout. The dispensing spout has one or more dispensing sides that rise upwardly from the cover and form a mixing chamber with a dispensing opening and fluidly connected to the inlet opening. The dispensing sides have one or more side perforations for allowing air to enter the mixing chamber. At least some of the beverage contained in an interior chamber of a cup is drawn into the inlet opening, mixed with air in the mixing chamber, and dispensed by the dispensing opening such that the at least some of the beverage has a lower temperature than the beverage contained in the interior chamber of the cup.

When the lid member is in a closed state, the inner ring seals the container body by being fitted to the second inner peripheral surface of the container body. When closing the lid member, the outer peripheral surface projection of the projected part contacts and slides over the inner peripheral surface projection of the first inner peripheral surface, to cause the lid member to be locked to the container body, with the inner ring sealing the container body.
