    • A draw beam suspension (1) for attaching a draw beam (7) to longitudinal frame members (3a, 3b) of a towing vehicle (2). The draw beam suspension(1) comprises two supporting beams (4) extending between the longitudinal frame members (3a, 3b), two bridging beams(5) extending between the supporting beams (4), and two side plates (6) for attaching the draw beam (7) to the bridging beams (5).
      The supporting beams (4), each having at least two longitudinal flanges and an open cross-section, are arranged with their openings facing each other. Through this design according to the present invention, a relatively light but yet strong construction is achieved, that provides sufficiently large contact surfaces between the constituent parts to enable, for example, bolt connections that withstands the stress that may arise.
