摘要： A vehicle biometric system includes an in-vehicle telematics unit having a receiver configured to receive authentication data from a wireless communication device, a memory configured to store computer program instructions, and a processor configured to access and execute the computer program instructions. The authentication data can include voice data based on a vocal input received at the wireless communication device from a requesting user. The executed computer program instructions can cause the processor to analyze the received authentication data to make a determination as to whether the vocal input is that of an authorized user of the vehicle, and based on a positive determination that the vocal input is that of the authorized user, to initiate a vehicle function in response to the vocal input.

摘要： An alco key for a car uses the immobiliser associated with the car's ignition system. A key is used for remote control of the immobiliser of a car, said key comprising an analysis device for determining the alcohol level of a person and, arranged to trans-mit a signal authorizing starting the car only if the alcohol level is below a prede-termined limit. The method comprises the steps of - transmitting an open signal to at least one door of the car - operating the ignition key to start the car, - detecting the alcohol level of a person and, if the level is below a predetermined limit level, transmitting an ok signal wirelessly to signal that it is ok to start the car, - starting the car only if said ok signal has been received by the immobiliser. The opening of doors can be controlled in a similar way.
