摘要： Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Aufbringung eines optisch variablen Sicherheitselements auf eine Oberseite eines Substrats eines Wertdokuments, wobei die Oberseite des Substrats aus Papier besteht. Das optisch variable Sicherheitselement besteht aus einer Farbe mit optisch variablen Pigmenten, die auf einen ersten Bereich der Oberseite des Substrats aus Papier aufgedruckt wird.
Erfindungsgemäß erfolgt vor dem Aufdrucken der Farbe mit optisch variablen Pigmenten eine Glättung eines zweiten Bereichs der Oberseite des Substrats aus Papier, wobei sich der zweite Bereich mit der Glättung und der erste Bereich mit der Farbe mit optisch variablen Pigmenten mindestens teilweise überlappen. Damit weist die Farbe mit optisch variablen Pigmenten für einen Betrachter im Bereich der Überlappung ein anderes Erscheinungsbild auf als außerhalb der Überlappung.
