摘要： An improved moulding method and device which will ensure an accurate, constant shot weight of the dosage of molten plastic material being injected into the mould cavity, thereby to obtain substrate discs having a non-varying thickness. The method of the present invention comprises the step of sensing an actual, secondary rear end position of a moveable wall obtained shortly after the interruption of the supply of molten plastic material to a metering chamber, and then performing a forward stroke of said wall with a predetermined length, whereby an accurately metered constant dosage of molten plastic material will always be injected during each shot. The device includes a means for sensing an actual, secondary rear end position of the moveable wall, and a means for obtaining a predetermined length of the forward stroke of the moveable wall, thereby to inject an accurately metered constant dosage of molten plastic material during each shot.

摘要： In a reciprocating (RS) injection unit environment, as shown in Figure 1, a controller of the injection unit is arranged to continuously rotate the screw during both conventional plasticizing operation and shot injection. In this way the RS unit is more efficient, utilizing less energy and producing greater resin output. The injection unit includes a non-return valve adjacent a nozzle, which non-return valve is either configured to rotate with the screw to reduce wear or presented as a ball check style noon-return valve. In an injection molding environment, the rotating screw includes flights that allow granules of resin to melt and mix in spaces between adjacent flights, but the flights are arranged substantially to inhibit excessive displacement of resin around the flights.

摘要： An adaptive controller (42) is provided for controlling the transition, in an injection molding apparatus (10), from the injection stage to the packing stage. The controller operates by controlling the velocity of the ram (32) during the injection stage, and controlling the ram pressure during the packing stage. The controller (42) anticipates the transition from the injection stage to the packing stage by monitoring the ratio of pressure to velocity. The divergence of this ratio forecasts the onset of the packing stage. At this time, a pressure relief valve (46) is preset in anticipation of the packing stage, to prevent a pressure spike during the transition period. The flow control valve (40) is held constant during the transition.

摘要： A vertical microinjection machine comprises a base (1) and a driving unit, a plasticizing unit, an injection unit, a mould closing system which are arranged on the base (1), wherein the mould closing system comprises a lower mould plate (2) which is fixed on the base (1) by a bracket arranged on the base (1), an upper mould plate (3) which is movable upward and downward relative to the lower mould plate (2), and two independent mould closing drive units which are symmetrically arranged on the base. Each mould closing drive unit comprises two thrust rods (5), a transmission part, a screw rod, a servo motor (4), a square "□" shaped support frame and a linear guide. The servo motor (4) drives the screw rod, and then brings the transmission part to move up and down. Driven by the transmission mechanism, the thrust rods (5) open and close the upper and lower clamping plates (3, 2) so as to achieve the opening and closing operation.
