摘要： To solve the problems of conventional wire billet butt-welding such as high labor intensity, potential safety hazards, and low production efficiency, the disclosure provides a wire billet butt-welding apparatus and a wire billet butt-welding method. The wire billet butt-welding method comprises: S1: preparing a stock, S2: rotating a butt-welding stock receiver to a stock receiving position, and feeding a first coil of wire billet to a stock receiving rod of the butt-welding stock receiver; S3: welding the first coil of wire billet and the second coil of wire billet on a rotary plate at the butt-welding position end-to-head; S4: rotating the butt-welding stock receiver and the second coil of wire billet to the stock receiving position; S5: rotating the stock receiving rod to rotate to tighten the wire billet between the first coil of wire billet and the second coil of wire billet; and S6: repeating steps S3 to S5 to complete butt-welding operations on the 3rd to nth coils of wire billet sequentially. The solution implements semi-automated butt-welding operation; with provision of the rotary plate and the butt-welding stock receiver, enables automatic loading, automatic flipping, and automatic discharging, which reduces the manual workload, lowers the safety hazards, and improves the production efficiency.

摘要： Devices, systems, and methods are directed to automated techniques for fitting flanges to tubular sections used to form tubular structures, such as large-scale structures used in industrial applications (e.g., wind towers and pipelines). As compared to manual techniques for fitting flanges to tubular sections, the devices, systems, and methods of the present disclosure facilitate faster attachment of flanges, which may be useful for achieving cost-effective throughput. By way of further comparison to manual techniques, the devices, systems, and methods of the present disclosure may, further or instead, facilitate achieving tighter dimensional tolerances. In turn, such tighter dimensional tolerances may be useful for forming thinner-walled, lighter, and lower cost tubular structures. Still further or in the alternative, automated techniques for fitting flanges to tubular sections may facilitate attachment of multipiece flanges or other non-traditional flange geometries.

摘要： A motor vehicle car body framing apparatus for use at a welding station, the apparatus including a gate having a frame structure and a plurality of tooling members carried by the frame structure for use in positioning components of the vehicle body at the welding station for welding. The tooling members are mounted on the frame structure by a plurality of mounting brackets (32). Each mounting bracket includes a base member (50) mounted on the frame structure and a riser (52) mounted on the base (50) and mounting a respective tooling member. The riser (52) is fixedly mounted on the base (50) by a single central fastener bolt (54) which may include a reduced diameter portion sized to breakaway in response to predetermined impact against the riser. The interface between the riser and the base comprises a plurality of contact points arranged in concentric relation with respect to the fastener bolt. The contact points may comprise a plurality of circumferentially spaced balls mounted on the base for coaction with circumferentially spaced grooves defined on the riser.

摘要： A pair of upper and lower pressure rollers (3, 4) is disposed so that their axes (15, 16) are tilted in a horizontal plane in respective directions opposite to each other with respect to a straight line perpendicular to a welding line of a joint portion J. The pressure rollers (3, 4) are positively driven by corresponding electric motors (63, 64) to thereby roll the joint portion. Thus, steps defined at the joint portion can be smoothed and a step gradient can be reduced to ensure a high degree of joint strength. The respective tilting directions of the axes (15, 16) of the pressure rollers (3, 4) are such that respective travel-directional portions (3A, 4A) of the pair of pressure rollers (3, 4) face in the horizontal plane toward the corresponding directions opposite to the extending directions of metal plates (5, 6) concerning a metal material with which the pressure rollers (3, 4) first come into contact. Thus, it is possible to prevent a step portion from being interfolded into the base material of the metal plates (5, 6). Thus, a stress concentration factor can be reduced and the steps S defined at the joint portion can be smoothed, thereby enhancing the quality of the joint portion.
