The method comprises: providing a metal worksheet (200); performing a heat treatment process, for example a solution treatment process, on the metal worksheet (200) thereby making the worksheet (200) more workable; performing a flattening process, for example a rolling process, on the heat treated metal worksheet (200); and, thereafter, performing a metalworking process on the flattened metal worksheet (200) to produce the metal object from the flattened metal worksheet (200). The method may further comprising, thereafter, performing a metal hardening process, for example a precipitation hardening or artificial age hardening process, on the produced metal object.

The bent profiles (3) can be used for tents, skylights, facade profiles, sun protection slats, or trirail bodywork for truck tarps, guaranteeing the homogeneity of the bend in all the bent profiles, without the profile being stuck in the machine during its bending.
