An apparatus includes a testing substrate; a plurality of capture compound features in a well of the testing substrate; a calibration feature on one of the capture compound features in the well of the testing substrate, where the calibration feature has a known concentration of a compound that is capable of binding to the capture compound; and at least one additional capture compound feature in the same well of the testing substrate, where the at least one additional capture compound feature does not have a calibration feature printed onto the at least one additional capture compound feature. Methods for using the same are disclosed.

摘要： A method of verifying the accuracy of the operation of an analyte monitoring device (M). The method comprises receiving control information from a test cartridge (100, 200, 200') with an analyte monitoring device, wherein the control information comprises a range of analyte concentration values for a control material (218), wherein the control material has a known and/or predetermined concentration of at least one analyte. The presence of the control material (218) is determined using the analyte monitoring device (M). The control material (218) is analysed to measure the concentration of the at least one analyte contained therein and the measured concentration of the at least one analyte is compared with the control information to determine if the measured concentration corresponds to the range of concentration values obtained from the control information. A pass or fail signal is provided to indicate whether the measured concentration falls within the range of analyte concentration values.

The method including the steps of, setting a preset volume by the pipette that is actually used in a measurement (S1), sucking liquid that is actually used in the measurement into the pipette chip that is actually used in the measurement while aiming to be sucked the preset volume (S2), discharging the liquid sucked in the pipette chip onto a measuring apparatus (S3), determining an actual discharge volume of the pipette based on the weight measured (S4 to S6) and calculating a ratio between the preset volume and the actual discharge volume and correcting a sucking amount so as to bring the sucking amount to match an amount obtained by multiplying the preset volume by the ratio (S7 to S9).

摘要： Mechanical pipette with adjustable volume value of aspirated liquid is built of a handle (1) and a nozzle (3) and coupled with them: an ejection mechanism of a pipette exchangeable tip (8), a drawing up and discharging mechanism with a plunger (33) mounted in said pipette nozzle (3), a plunger working stroke adjustment mechanism, a manually actuated lock mechanism of a drive assembly of an adjustment screw of the plunger working stroke, a mechanical counter, a drive mechanism of a mechanical counter and a calibration mechanism for correction of the pipette accuracy deviation. The ejection mechanism applied in the pipette constitutes a hand operated second-class lever the rotating axis of which is perpendicular to the pipette axis and is situated on the other side of the pipette axis than the point of application by the user to a push button (4) of a force actuating via intermediate means the ejector (2). The points of force transfer from the push button (4) to the intermediate means during the angle movement of the push button (4) displace along rectilinear contact surfaces (4c) of the push button (4). The calibration mechanism, preferably, comprises, mounted in the mechanical counter, releasable coupling means for complete disengagement of a revolvers assembly from the mechanical counter drive mechanism in CALIBRATION MODE, further, engaged with them, changeover means for changing over the pipette into CALIBRATION MODE and resetting means of the indication of the liquid volume value on the counter in CALIBRATION MODE.
The subject-matter invention relates also to an electric pipette for transferring a liquid, which is provided with the above mentioned ejection mechanism.
