    • Improved skateboards and methods of obtaining or providing skateboards with improved trucks. Trucks have two axles or axes, two primary wheels, and two secondary wheels, and skateboards have eight wheels, four in front and four at the rear portion of the skateboard. The four primary wheels support most or all of the weight of the skateboard when the skateboard is on a flat surface, and the two secondary wheels support the weight of one portion of the skateboard (e.g., front or rear) when the primary wheels cross a crack (e.g., a sidewalk contraction joint). In various embodiments, the secondary wheels are located outboard of the primary wheels. Further, in a number of embodiments, the axis of rotation or axle of the primary wheels remains parallel to that of the secondary wheels, whether the skateboard is going straight or turning.

    • A transportation device for transporting a child by an adult comprises a footrest for the adult, at least two front wheels, at least a rear wheel, at least one handle frame and at least one seat for the child connected to the handle frame. The transportation device comprises an elongated board provided with the footrest, wherein the front wheels are rotatably connected to a common front axle housing. The common front axle housing being pivotable about a front axis connected to a front side of the elongated board, wherein the front axis encloses an angle of more than one degree with a virtual line extending perpendicular to the footrest. The handle frame is connected to the elongated board near the front side thereof. In use the person standing on the footrest forces the handle in a transverse direction perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the elongated board, due to which the elongated board will be tilted and the common front axle housing will be pivoted.

    • Disclosed herein is a caster skate apparatus to be propelled in a direction changeable manner by use of rider's both feet. The apparatus comprises front and rear boards(20, 30) to support both feet thereon, first and second rollers(22, 23) mounted to the underside of the front board at front and rear locations by a predetermined distance, third and fourth rollers(32, 33) mounted to the underside of the rear board at front and rear locations by a predetermined distance, a flexible connector(52) having a predetermined length and connected at opposite ends thereof to the front and rear boards to allow the front and rear boards to independently move within a predetermined range. A rotating center of each of the first and third rollers is spaced apart from an axis, having a predetermined inclination angle with respect to undersides of the respective boards, by a predetermined distance.
