摘要： An absorbent article (100-1200) is capable of providing comfort to the wearer and can maintain dryness and inhibit the leakage of fluid. The absorbent article (100-1200) includes a multi-layered topsheet (138). The multi-layered topsheet (138) includes a first topsheet layer (106) having an opening (148) and a second topsheet layer (108) disposed under the first topsheet layer (106). The first topsheet layer (106) and the second topsheet layer (108) are joined together by a seal that, in one embodiment, generally corresponds with the shape of the opening (148). Further, a first sub-topsheet layer (116) is situated beneath the multi-layered topsheet (138) and has an opening (150) that is smaller than the first topsheet layer opening (148). This combination of openings (148, 150) situated one below the other provides for an absorbent article (100-1200) that can maintain a high level of dryness and its ability to conform to the wearer's body, and inhibit the leakage of bodily fluids due to a funnel-like effect.

摘要： The present invention is directed to an unitized cover and transfer layer for hygiene applications that have the appearance, strength, and drape of a nonwoven and the surface characteristics of a film. The lightweight apertured film surface the present invention is comprised of a series of void spaces that act to collect liquids and channel such liquid into an associated underlying absorbent layer, while reducing potential release of particulates inherent to the absorbent layer. Further, the unitized cover and transfer layer of the present invention exhibits significantly reduced frictional noise and discomfort induced by prolonged contact.

摘要： A process of making an absorbent article comprising the steps of providing a liquid permeable topsheet web extending substantially continuously in a machine direction, the topsheet web having a first and second surface, a liquid impermeable backsheet web extending substantially continuously in the machine direction and an acquisition layer having a first and second surface. The topsheet web and the acquisition layer comprise fibers. SOLUTION
An absorbent article 1 with an absorber 4 disposed between a permeable front surface sheet 3 and a rear surface sheet 2 of a non-woven fabric; wherein the front surface sheet 3 is provided with ridged convex portions 7, 7 continuing in the longitudinal direction of the absorbent article 1 at a specified interval in the width direction of the absorbent article 1, and provided with dot-like concave embossments 8a, 8b at the right side adjacent position and the left side adjacent position alternately at an interval in the longitudinal direction of the absorbent article 1 on the both sides of each of the convex portions 7, 7, and the concave embossments 8a, 8b are arranged in a zigzag pattern as a whole. The convex portion 7 is an inclined surface having a relatively steep gradient on one side and a relatively gentle gradient on the other side, and the cross-sectional shape of the convex portion 7 is an asymmetrical shape.
