摘要： The invention relates to a method for an automatic or semi-automatic detection whether an MR examination of a person (12) is approved with a predetermined MR system (10), which MR system (10) includes at least one coil (14, 16, 18) for generating a magnetic field. A fiducial may include one or more protuberances configured to engage one or more slots in a needle of the system. The needle may be configured to deliver a plurality of fiducials to a target location in serial fashion, one at a time. In certain embodiments, echogenic placement of fiducials may present certain advantages. The handle includes an actuation mechanism with a collet and plunger actuation member configured for incrementally or otherwise controlledly deploy one or more fiducials at a time by advancing a stylet through and/or retracting the body of a slotted needle in which fiducials are disposed with a fiducial protrusion extending into the needle slot, which also includes retaining structures that do not impede the needle lumen.

摘要： The present invention relates to an injection device for endoscopy, and provides: a feature of inserting a needle for endoscopy into a tissue, in a state of holding a body tissue, which is a region to receive an injection, and then injecting an injection solution thereinto; and a feature enabling stanching of the bleeding region if bleeding occurs. That is, tissue is held by holding forceps and a needle is inserted thereinto, corresponding to a series of operations from a state in which the needle is accommodated between the holding forceps for holding the tissue, and then an injection solution is injected into the tissue through the needle. In addition, a bleeding region is stanched by the heat transferred to the holding forceps without using a separate hemostat if bleeding occurs during the operation. According to the present invention, the precise position of an injection target region can be confirmed, and thus the generation of a tissue perforation due to a needle can be prevented, and bleeding can be immediately stanched without using a separate tool if bleeding occurs.

摘要： A portable unit comprises a sampling mechanism used by a patient to take a sample of a bodily fluid or tissue that can be tested for any property indicative of a medical condition of the patient, a microprocessor for determining a treatment for the condition based on a test of the sample, and an administration mechanism for administering the treatment based on the determination by the microprocessor. Operationally, the unit samples a bodily function, evaluates the sample, determines from stored protocols and criteria if treatment is required, and administers treatment. Two-way wireless communication between the unit and one or more remote networks enables numerous functionalities, including (i) collection and collation of medical information and records relating to multiple users of information stored by their units for access by healthcare providers, regulatory agencies, insurance carriers, pharmaceutical companies, and others, (ii) unit maintenance and resupply of consumables, and (iii) direct user-to-user communication.
