摘要： A bone resector tool (100) comprises an ultrasonic transducer (8), typically generating longitudinal mode vibrations at around 40 kHz, and having an elongate blade portion (2) mounted thereto. The transducer (8) and blade portion (2) are mounted to a rotatably-drivable converter element (3). Rotation of the converter element (3) produces reciprocal longitudinal motion of the transducer (8) and blade portion (2). A counterweight (5B) is also mounted to the converter element (3), moving out of phase with the transducer (8) and blade portion (2), such that a centre of mass of the whole system is stationary, reducing vibration of the tool (100) in a user's hand. The peak velocity due to the ultrasonic vibrations of a distal tip (6A) of the blade portion (2) is up to seven times greater than its peak velocity due to the reciprocal longitudinal motion. This permits rapid, low-effort cutting of bone with easy removal of cut debris and minimal consequent necrosis.

The implantable medical device comprises an artificial contacting surface (1101, 1102) adapted to replace at least one contacting surface of the knee joint and to be lubricated when implanted in said joint. 摘要： A surgical system for positioning a prosthetic component on an anatomy of a patient includes a surgical tool configured to engage the prosthetic component, a force system configured to provide at least some force to the surgical tool, and a controller programmed to compare a target pose of the prosthetic component and an actual pose of the prosthetic component engaged by the surgical tool and generate control signals that cause the force system to allow movement of the surgical tool within a range of movement and provide haptic feedback to constrain a user's ability to manually move the surgical tool beyond the range of movement. The haptic feedback resists movement of the surgical tool by the user that would cause substantial deviation between at least one aspect of the actual pose of the prosthetic component and a corresponding aspect of the target pose of the prosthetic component. The controller is programmed to generate control signals that cause the force system to maintain the haptic feedback as the user implants the prosthetic component on the anatomy.
