c) Mittels Wirkung der Gewichtskraft der Verdichtungsmaschine (3, 5) wird das Erntegut (2) verdichtet.
Um ein Verfahren bereitzustellen, mittels dessen die Befüllung eines Silos grundsätzlich optimierbar ist, wird erfindungsgemäß der folgende Verfahrensschritt vorgeschlagen:
d) Zumindest innerhalb des Verdichtungszeitraums wird die Verdichtungsmaschine (3, 5) autonom betrieben, wobei die Verdichtungsmaschine (3, 5) mittels mindestens einer Steuerungseinrichtung (4) gesteuert wird.
