    • A vehicle airbag system includes: an outside lid (2) formed by part of an interior panel; an outside hinge (3) connecting one side of the outside lid to the interior panel (1); a bursting portion (4) that is connected to an opening edge of the outside lid and that bursts due to inflation pressure of an airbag inside the outside lid; a bracket (5) joined to a reverse face of the interior panel; and an inside lid (10) that is joined to a reverse face of the outside lid and connected to the bracket via an inside hinge (11) so that the inside lid can be opened together with the outside lid. The bracket and the inside lid are integrally connected via a thin connecting portion (12) that is arranged so as to correspond to an edge of the outside lid excluding a predetermined opening initiation end and to break during opening of the outside lid.

    • The present invention provides a structure of coupling vehicle body exterior parts to each other, in which first and second exterior parts 3, 4 secured at their one-ends to spaced-apart portions of the vehicle body 1 are coupled at the other opposed ends to each other for sliding movement in a given direction A. In this structure, first and second support walls 20, 20'; 24, 24' are provided on the first and second exterior parts 3, 4 to abut against each other for sliding movements in the given direction A; and U-shaped grooves 22, 26 are formed in the first support walls 20, 24 to extend in the given direction A, and T-shaped protrusions 23, 27 are formed on the second support walls 20', 24', so that their necks are slidably fitted in said U-shaped grooves 22, 26. Thus, a high rigidity can be provided to relatively slidable coupled portions of the first and second exterior parts, so that the displacement between the exterior parts can be prevented.

    • In a structure of mounting a wheel cap (C) to a wheel, a plurality of pairs of support plates (4) are projectingly provided on an inner wall of the wheel cap made of a synthetic resin and arranged annularly so that the support plates in each pair are opposed to each other in a circumferential direction. A pair of elastic support legs (5) extending from opposed surfaces of the support plates in each pair are integrally connected to each other to form a V-shape. A locking claw (6) is formed on a connection between the support legs and capable of being engaged into a locking recess in an inner peripheral surface of a rim of the wheel. An annular setting spring (9) is connected to the locking claws for biasing the locking claws in a direction to come into engagement in said locking recess. Thus, it is possible to form each of the support legs supporting each of the locking claws sufficiently long to enhance the flexibility of the support leg, thereby improving durability of the support legs and mounting property of the wheel cap.
