摘要： Zur Bestimmung der Topologie einer Schüttgutoberfläche wird eine Serie an Echokurven unter verschiedenen Hauptabstrahlrichtungen der Antenne erfasst. Auf diese Weise können Temperaturdriften und Beschädigungen des Szintillators, EMV-Einstrahlungen sowie eine erhöhte Rate von Dunkelpulsen des photosensitiven Bauteils detektiert und korrigiert werden.

Large echoes in the short range may impair quality of measurement. According to an embodiment of the invention, a radar module is used to extract a reference signal for a radar level meter, said module comprising a tap for extracting the reference signal and a delay line for delaying the transmit signal. The transmit signal is delayed on its path to the antenna once the leakage pulse is extracted.
