摘要： A circuit board (10) including a plate-shaped base body (40), at least one pad (20) formed on a surface of the base body (40) and configured for electrical contact with a mating contact, and a protective film (30) that extends on the surface of the base body (40) in contact with an edge (20a, 20b) of the pad (20). The edge (20a, 20b) of the pad (20) and a portion of the protective film (30), which contacts the edge (20a, 20b) of the pad (20), have the same heights as each other such that their upper surfaces form a continuous surface. As the mating contact slides in a sliding direction in contact with the protective film (30) it rides smoothly over the pad (20). This prevents deterioration of the mating contact and the pad (20).

A connector (20) has a base housing (22) and a shell (27) constituting a housing, a plurality of said contacts (211), a slider (23), and a lift plate (24). The connector (20) is mated with the mating connector having a plurality of contact pads arranged in a two-dimensional fashion. The plurality of contacts (211) are arranged in a two-dimensional fashion, and they make contact with a plurality of contact pads of the mating connector, respectively. The slider (23) has a cam face on an upper face (231) thereof, and it is slid in a lateral direction according to a driving operation of a lever (37). The lift plate (24) receives an action of the cam face caused by sliding of the slider (23) to move toward the mating connector. The lift plate (24) pushes the plurality of contacts (211) on to the plurality of contact pads of the mating connector.
