摘要： The invention relates to a tracheal applicator for allowing the use of a high-flow therapy, such as the therapy which is known and has proven itself in transnasal insufflation methods using TNI devices, for tracheotomy patients. This is achieved by an idealized physical simulation of conditions such as those which occur when carrying out a transnasal high-flow therapy on the nasal cavity with an inserted prong. The inspiration and expiration flows flowing through the tracheal applicator are conducted in an approximately turbulence- and vortex-free manner by means of additional structural measures while simultaneously maintaining an open respirator system.

摘要： The invention relates to a multifunctional applicator (6) which can be used in a mobile manner, having an applicator plug (7), a supply hose (8), a Y piece (9), a fork hose (10), and a nose piece (11) with teeth (12). The applicator plug (7) contains a pressure chamber (21) which has a humidifier interface (17) for connecting to a high-flow therapy device (1), an oxygen connection (13) with an opening diameter of at least 1 mm, and a therapy air connection (14) for the supply hose (8). The humidifier interface (7) and the oxygen connection (13) within the pressure chamber (21) each have a lower and upper valve seat (23, 25) provided with a seal (22), and a valve element (24) can be moved between the valve seats (23, 25), wherein a force is applied to the valve element (24) from the direction of the oxygen connection (13) by a helical compression spring (26), and the valve element is pressed against the upper valve seat (25) by an actuation element (28) of the high-flow therapy device (1) when the applicator plug (7) sits on the high-flow therapy device (1) in a locked manner.
