    • According to a method and an apparatus of the present invention for adjusting the rolling positions of the rolling rolls constituting a three-roll mandrel mill, a wall thickness of a rolled material is measured at a position corresponding to a groove bottom portion of each rolling roll, a deviation between each measured wall thickness and a target wall thickness determined by a rolling schedule is computed, and the rolling position of each rolling roll is adjusted based on each computed deviation. Therefore, the rolling position can properly be adjusted. The wall thickness of the rolled material is also measured at both positions corresponding to portions extended toward both flange portion sides from the groove bottom portions of the rolling rolls, and the rolling position of each rolling roll is adjusted based on the deviation between both measured values. Therefore, even if the rolling position of each rolling roll is considered to be apparently proper, actually the rolling position can be properly adjusted. Accordingly, the method and the apparatus of the present invention are widely adopted as means for adjusting the rolling positions of the rolling rolls constituting the three-roll mandrel mill.
