    • The invention relates to a twist grip shift lever for bicycles, preferably for mounting in the grip area of an outer steering column of a steering rod. The twist grip shift lever consists of a housing part (1,1a) that is fixed in relation to the handlebar and that has a cylindrical extension which surrounds the outer steering column (2,2a) and on which a twisting part (3,3a) with a cable bobbin (4,4a) is located; and a housing extension (5, 5a) which at least partially surrounds the twisting part (3,3a) in the area of said cable bobbin (4,4a) and which has an inner contour (6,6a). The cylindrical extension (2,2a) can form a joint connection with a ring (12,12a). The cylindrical extension (2,2a) is produced together with the inner contour (6,6a) of the housing extension (5,5a), with the smallest possible outer diameter (8,8a) in relation to a diameter (7,7a) of the outer steering column, said outer diameter being enlarged around its wall thickness. The inner contour (6,6a) and the outer diameter (8,8a) are produced by means of a material injection method, using a single mould half of an injection mould.

    • The invention relates to a shift lever which is used to remotely operate the change of gear in a set of bicycle gears. Said shift lever comprises a housing part (1) and a cable winder (2) with a cable guide (4) which the bicycle user can operate in a winding rotational direction (A) to wind a cable (3), or in a releasing rotational direction (F) to release the cable. One end of the cable connects interactively with the cable winder, at least in one of the two rotational directions (A, F). The housing part has a bar (8) with a guiding edge (9) which together with the cable guide form a cable channel (14) for the cable, from which the cable cannot deviate, if the cable winder is actuated in the releasing rotational direction; this occurs if the other end of the cable is not pulled or taken up by the set of gears.

    • An adjusting device for cables, especially bicycle cables, used to control gears, brakes, derailleur gears and the like. The actuating cable consists of a guide bushing (5) and a traction cable and/or pressure cable (6). One end of the guide bushing (17) rests on an abutment (14) that can be displaced by means of a thread (9) in an adjusting bushing (3) in an axial direction of the traction cable or pressure cable in relation to part (1) of the cable inlet that is associated with the frame. A transition section (10) is provided between the adjusting bushing and the guide bushing. Said transition section surrounds the outer surface of the guide bushing and is sealed off from the outer surface of the guide bushing by means of a sealing lip (13). It is advantageous to use an adjusting bushing with a grip section and, selectively, a cable end cap with a grease deposit as a multfunctional component for securing the actuating cable to the frame section of a bicycle, whereby the traction cable and/or pressure cable can be regreased afterwards by exerting pressure on the transition section.
