The terminal unit (71) is fitted to a cartridge holder (37) provided in a housing part (38) capable of housing an ink cartridge, the cartridge holder (37) being provided with an ink introduction unit (51) for introducing ink to an ink jetting head (33), an electrical connection part (46), a through-hole (66), and a restricting part (43b) capable of restricting movement of the ink cartridge in an extraction direction. The terminal unit (71) is provided with: a terminal member (75), which comes into contact with the electrical connection part (46) when fitted to the cartridge holder (37); an engaging part (74) which is engaged by the restricting part (43b); and a unit-side positioning part (79) positioned at the through-hole (66).

摘要： An inkjet type recording device and method of supplying ink to a sub-tank by the same device, and method of checking the amount of ink supplied to the sub-tank by the same device, wherein the amount of ink to be supplied from a main tank to a sub-tank can be properly controlled. The inkjet type recording device comprises a recording head mounted on a carriage and adapted to be moved to and fro widthwise of the recording paper, and a sub-tank mounted on the carriage together with the recording head, and receiving an ink supply from a main tank through an ink supply passageway and feeding ink to the recording head, wherein the recording device includes an ink-amount detecting means for detecting the amount of ink stored in the sub-tank, and an ink supply control means which controls the supply of ink from the main tank to the sub-tank according to the result of detection of the ink-amount by the ink-amount detecting means.

摘要： An ink cartridge disposing, on one face of a cartridge case, connection terminals for a circuit board comprising a positioning means for charging an ink cartridge into a recording device, a port for leading out ink from an ink pack, a port for leading in pressurized air, and a storage means for storing the information on cartridge ink and an ink jet recording device having the ink cartridge mounted thereon; the ink cartridge, wherein the cartridge is fixedly positioned three-dimensionally and accurately in a holder by the positioning means, a mechanical positioning and electrical connection are made accurately, the reliability of operation of the recording device is increased; the recording device, wherein the connection terminals for the board is disposed on the upper side of the ink lead-out port with the cartridge charged by the positioning means, whereby, even if ink is leaked from the ink lead-out port, the connection terminals can be avoided from being stained from ink.
